Used to state a natural expectation or obligation for someone who holds a certain role, status, or profession. It implies that because they occupy that position, they must possess certain qualities or behave in a certain way.
Note
Used with nouns representing a role or status (e.g., 'teacher', 'police officer', 'leader'). Usually followed by expressions of judgment like 'must' or 'should'. A formal expression.
