Meaning
Used to emphasize the extreme degree of a state or situation.
Note
Indicates that the degree is so high that it's almost unbelievable or indescribable. Commonly used for negative or burdensome situations (annoyance, inconvenience), but can also express extreme positive emotions (beauty, joy). The variants 'ari-wa-shinai' and 'arya-shinai' are more colloquial and emphatic, highlighting the speaker's strong emotion.
