An expression meaning 'cannot (do) because of circumstances; must not; no way one can (do)'. Note: the standard/correct form is 訳にはいかない; わけにはいけない is considered an incorrect variant.
明日は大事な会議があるから、休むわけにはいけない。

個人的には行きたいが、事情があって行くわけにはいけない（正しくは『行く訳にはいかない』）。
