To be inferior to or outdone by someone/something. Often used in the negative (引けを取らない) to mean 'not inferior'.
うちの製品は品質で他社に引けを取らないと自信を持っている。
We are confident that our product is not inferior to other companies' in quality.
彼はスポーツでは誰にも引けを取らない才能がある。
He has talent in sports and is not outdone by anyone.
経験では劣るが、熱意では引けを取らない。
He may be lacking in experience, but he is not inferior in enthusiasm.
