The diacritic mark (゛) attached to kana to indicate a voiced consonant; commonly called the voiced sound mark (dakuten).
仮名の「か」に濁り点を付けると「が」になります。
If you add the voiced mark to the kana 'か', it becomes 'が'.
古い文献では「にごり点」と表記されることがある。
In older literature it is sometimes written as 'にごり点'.
